WHO WE HELP

ROH IL provides resource homes for 18–24-year-old adults that have aged out of the foster care system or were adopted after the age of 16.

 

There is an application process and must be submitted by the referring agency. If there are no beds available, the applicant will be placed on a waiting list.  Once a bed becomes available the applicant and referring agency will be notified. 

 

 

Once an application has been approved the applicant will be notified and will receive an acceptance letter with an assigned move in date. All approved applicants will have a contract for occupancy and a “rules and responsibility agreement” that must be completed prior to move in date. The length of the residency will be determined based on each individual case. ROH reserves the right to approve or deny any resident application.
